The Nakamal

We love our new Nakamal (bislama for "meeting place"). Similar to a Bali Hut, it is right near the water with great ourdoor chairs for your comfort while you relax and enjoy the view.

There is also a large table, seats and BBQ bench made from the timber from a large tree we cut down when building the house.

Plus a 4-burner hooded BBQ ideal for cooking up tasty meal of Santo Steaks or local fish.

The Nakamal is the perfect spot at any time of day - enjoy the shade and cooling breezes during the day, or sit back, relax and watch the lights of Luganville glisten on the water  at night.

The Beach

35 metre wide private beach right on the Segond Channel, just a few steps from your front door.

These unspoilt waters are a haven for many species of tropical fish and beautiful corals.  Keep an eye out for Dugongs feeding on the sea-grass.

Swim, snorkel or enjoy a paddle on the kayak or the paddle board right from your own private beach.

There is only a slight current as the tide goes in and out so it is safe to swim right out front. But as always please supervise small children and poor swimmers.
