Our Story
Welcome to Aoredise! We're Stuart and June, and we live in Queensland, Australia. We've been happily married for over 35 years and have two adult sons.
Our Aoredise journey began in 1991, when we first set foot in beautiful Vanuatu. What started as a work conference in Port Vila, with a dive trip to Santo added on, became a lasting love affair with the country.
After years of visiting Vanuatu, we finally made our dream a reality, purchasing land on Aore Island in 2013 and opening our holiday rental in 2016.
Since then, through cyclones, the pandemic and all the challenges that come with running a property from Australia, we've welcomed more than 400 guests from around the world. Many have returned to stay with us again, which is something we're particularly proud of.

Why?
Building a holiday rental in Vanuatu wasn't simply about creating a business for us. It was about being part of a place we had come to love.
We love the slower pace of life, the warm climate and being just steps from the clear water and tropical marine life around Aore Island.
We're also passionate about Vanuatu and its people, and supporting local tourism is important to us. By welcoming visitors to Aoredise, we hope we can play a small part in supporting the local community and economy.
Vanuatu has given us many wonderful experiences over the years, and Aoredise is our way of sharing a little of that with other people.
